Home to Croft Saints
Monday, December 11th, 2006Playing on a cold alley tonight. Coats abound!
First roll started pretty flat, improved through the middle then stumbled badly and recovered towards the end to leave us with an acceptable 55. They responded with a mediocre 52.
Second roll began ok, kept pace mid-roll then with the exception of a 9 from Alan fell apart at tne end, leaving us down on last roll with a 54. Their response was a useful 57.
We started the third roll started well but rapidly deteriorated, recovered somewhat through the middle and the tail enders kept the roll alive to leave us with an average 55. They could only repeat their first roll score of 52.
Fourth roll started like a roller coaster, tripped up mid-roll then fell over completely at the end leaving us with an awful 49. They responded with a welcome 56 nudging into the lead.
Fifth and final roll had a rocky start, picked up a little through the middle then flew to the end with 9s from the Radar and the Anchor Rowley gave us an impressive 63 and a grand total of 276. They hit a decent 60 to take the game by 1 pin.
